State Champions

The Hamilton Bulldogs made history last night by being the first team to EVER win a state championship in the 111 year history of the team. Both towns came out to support their home teams, with the population of both towns equaling about 5000, and around 7800 fans were in attendance on Wednesday night. The Bulldogs have T-shirts that say "Family" and a family is weak without a community behind them, which is what the Bulldogs have. The entire community shut down to travel to AT&T Stadium in Arlington to cheer on their hometown team.

Joaquin struck first scoring the first touchdown of the night, but the Bulldogs held them to only one, and went on to score three touchdowns with the final score being 21-7.

The Defensive MVP went to Senior Bret Bauman with sixteen tackles.
