Hamilton High School

She was nominated by a student because "she constantly goes above and beyond for our color guard and our entire band program. During her conference period every day, she stays in the band hall to help us with routines, tape flags, prepare equipment, or work on anything else the guard needs. She also came up to the school throughout the entire summer to organize the flag room, prepare our flags, and teach us routines so we could be ready for the season. Whenever we are struggling with a routine or need extra help, she is always willing to stop what she is doing and work with us until we understand it. She approaches every situation calmly and makes sure everyone has a chance to speak and that every voice is heard. She does so much behind the scenes that often goes unnoticed, but her time, patience, and dedication have made a huge difference for me and my peers. She truly puts our success and growth first, and I am very grateful to have her as our color guard teacher."

Thank you Mrs. Salley for making a difference!
