Hamilton ISD has officially approved the 2026-27 academic calendar. Hamilton Administrators deliberated community opinions, input from Hamilton ISD staff, and recommendations from a site-based committee comprised of staff and community members before submitting the calendar to the School Board. The Board of Trustees formally adopted the calendar on February 25, 2026.
The first day of school is August 12, 2026 and will be at the same time as previous years, 7:45 am - 3:45 pm. This schedule maintains a full instructional day while allowing ample time for academic and extracurricular activities.
Hamilton ISD remains committed to fostering a structured and supportive learning environment for all students. Parents and guardians are encouraged to review the calendar and plan accordingly.
