Please join us in celebrating the promotion of the Class of 2027 from Junior High to High School.
The promotion ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 7 pm at the Chandler Craig Auditorium.
8th Grade Parent/Guardians Information:
Tracy Cox will be at the ceremony to take pictures at 5:30 p.m., she will take individual and group poses before the ceremony. The group picture for all students will be at 6:30 p.m. We are asking that all students arrive by 6:15 p.m. for the group photo!
DRESS CODE:
We traditionally have a very nice promotion ceremony. We ask that students come in school-appropriate attire. Typically, students dress nicely. NO shorts or tennis shoes. Please call the HJH Office (254-386-4376) if you have any questions about your child’s attire.
I have had a few students ask about wearing nice jeans and boots to this event. Although the original letter said no jeans, we feel that nice jeans will be acceptable.
Also, several young ladies have asked about straps on dresses. We are asking that parents do their best to ensure that students are dressed nicely and that clothes are school appropriate. We understand that sometimes the style of dresses can fall outside the lines of the school dress code and we are going to trust the discretion of parents when it comes to appropriate dress.
