It is FINALLY happening!!! We received a grant from Friends Of Hamilton ISD in 2020 to produce "The Lion King Jr" but covid kept us from taking to the stage. No worries, Hakuna Matata, because this summer we invite your student to attend this spectacular camp.
Video submissions for leading roles need to be submitted via FB messenger or mcraig@hamiltonisd.org by July 4th to be considered for a main part. Please sing a short selection from a song in the play/movie. (*ensemble and tech crew do not need to submit a video). Open registration begins July 5th. Registration packets can be picked up at any HISD school office M-Thurs, or at the Hamilton Herald News office. Camp tuition is $65 ($5 discount for additional siblings attending camp). Open to all kids age 5 and up. Tuition includes a Camp t-shirt, all arts and craft supplies for costume and prop construction, hair and makeup supplies, 5 fun days of dancing, singing, and acting, and Snacks each day. This camp is generously sponsored by a grant from Friends of Hamilton ISD and all proceeds will help offset the cost of our upcoming HHS trip to Broadway NYC!
The community is invited to watch the final production Sunday, July 30th at 4 pm.
