Some news from "Up on the Hill" sharing student achievement! 

Several teams competed at State FCCLA over the weekend. Two STAR event teams and 1 Spotlight on Project advanced to Nationals that will be in held in Denver this summer. You can find more pictures from the event here.  (Pictured L-R Fernanda Olalde, Campbell Lengefeld, and Kelton Wright) 


Hamilton Junior High 7th & 8th Grade girls finished 1st in District! The 7th-grade girls won with 150 points, and the 8th-grade girls won with 219 points.  The 7th-grade boys also won their division with 191.25 points, and the 8th-grade boys narrowly missed first coming in behind Rio Vista JH with 148 points. 


Mrs. Maury Heers' 8th Grade Social Studies class made magazine covers based on the reform movements they studied. You can see the individual covers and the students that created them here


First-grade students were excited to receive books from the Hamilton Retired Teachers Association. Pictured here is Mrs. Lewis' first-grade class. 

Ann Whitney Elementary students and staff recently celebrated their many UIL Academic victories including winning overall at the meet! 

Freshman Kate Lengefeld and Senior Mia Coker (both in white jerseys) shined at the Extraco Relays last Thursday night. Varsity Girls won their division with a total of 167 points.
