Last night at the Annual Hamilton Chamber of Commerce Banquet, Pre-K 3 Teacher Elizabeth Jenson was honored as Educator of the Year.
Elizabeth was introduced by her colleague, Janna Whitehead, a fellow teacher at Ann Whitney Elementary. Janna emphasized Mrs. Jenson’s kindness and dedication to going above and beyond for her students. She shared how former students often stop by to say “Hi” even after moving on to higher grade levels. Mrs. Jenson keeps her students engaged while maintaining open communication with parents, helping them stay informed—especially those sending their children to school for the first time—ensuring they feel comfortable and reassured.
