This is to inform you that the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) will be conducting a statewide emergency test Thursday, April 2nd between 10:00 AM and 12:30 PM
During this test, you may receive a notification on your mobile devices similar in appearance and tone to an AMBER Alert in addition local sirens may also be set off as well. Please be advised that this is only a test of the emergency alert system. No action is required from staff or students.
School operations will continue as normal, and it will be business as usual throughout the day. We simply want to ensure everyone is aware in advance to prevent any confusion or concern when the alert is received.

It's Spring time which means our students and staff are blossoming and going where the wind takes them. Bi-District OAP, Golf, Baseball, Softball, field trips, and don't forget we will have a Staff/Student Holiday on Friday, April 3rd and Monday, April 6th. Classes will resume at regular time on Tuesday, April 7th.
Congratulations to our OAP cast, crew, and directors. Henry Ivey Received Technical Award; Kate Lengefeld, Emery McElroy, and Ben Ivey received Honorable Mention All Star Cast, and Colter Johnson received All Star Cast award. Way to go!!!

The Hamilton ISD School Board meeting that had been scheduled March 16th has been moved to Monday, March 23rd.
It's time for the Extraco Relays! Tomorrow Hamilton ISD will host the HS Extraco Relays and the JH Extraco Relays at Kooken Field. We appreciate all of the volunteers who help make these track meets possible! HS Track meet kicks off at 9 am with Field events and Running Finals at 11:30 am. JH Track Meet Field Events start at 3:30 pm with Running Finals at 5:30 pm.
Join us Sunday March 22nd at 6:00pm to find out "who dunnit?" HHS UIL OAP presents, "CLUE" at the Chandler Craig Auditorium.
Welcome back!!! We hope everyone had a great Spring Break! This week is full of sports, Big Kahuna Delivery, the annual Extraco Relays Thursday, and the Big Kahuna party bus will make a stop on Friday. The Copper Garden will be at Hamilton HS during Break and WIN on Wednesday for tux fittings for Prom. We hope everyone has a wonderful week back!
