Thursday, May 7th: HS Athletics: State Tennis Tournament (May 7th–8th). Good Luck Harper!! JH Student Council: Field Trip. HS Cheer: Student Body Tryouts. Fine Arts: Spring Concert featuring 5th Grade through HS Bands at 7:00 pm in the Chandler Craig Auditorium.
Friday, May 8th: AWE Field Day: Kinder – 2nd Grade: 8:30 am – 10:30 am. 3rd – 5th Grade: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. HS Cheer: Tryouts with Judges. Dance: 6th–8th Grade Beach Theme Dance from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

It's another busy week for our students up on the hill! Today our Seniors will honor those special educators that have influenced them at the Shining Apple Awards at 2 pm at the Chandler Craig Auditorium, Early Voting for the School Board Trustee election ends Tuesday, April 28th, 4th & 5th grade will have a fun day on Thursday at Ag Day, students are out for a Bad Weather day Friday, May 1st., and our Regional Track athletes will be competing at Springtown this week. Good luck! Wrapping up this week the School Board Trustee Election Day is Saturday, May 2nd from 7 am to 7 pm at City Hall.

We’ve put together a Quick-Start STAAR Success Guide (PDF) to help our families navigate testing with confidence. Whether it’s Reading, Math, or Science, or End of Course Exams, these simple strategies make a world of difference.
It's a busy week up on the hill!! Our HS Lady Dogs & Bulldog Golf teams compete at Regional, FFA Teams are showing off their Ag Skills, STAAR Tests, baseball and softball, School to Scrubs on our HJH/HHS campuses on Wednesday, and Prom on Saturday, April 18th.

Dear Parents & Community, This is to inform you that the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) will be conducting a statewide emergency test Thursday, April 2nd between 10:00 AM and 12:30 PM
During this test, you may receive a notification on your mobile devices similar in appearance and tone to an AMBER Alert in addition local sirens may also be set off as well. Please be advised that this is only a test of the emergency alert system. No action is required from staff or students.
School operations will continue as normal, and it will be business as usual throughout the day. We simply want to ensure everyone is aware in advance to prevent any confusion or concern when the alert is received.

Welcome back!!! We hope everyone had a great Spring Break! This week is full of sports, Big Kahuna Delivery, the annual Extraco Relays Thursday, and the Big Kahuna party bus will make a stop on Friday. The Copper Garden will be at Hamilton HS during Break and WIN on Wednesday for tux fittings for Prom. We hope everyone has a wonderful week back!
