It's Spring time which means our students and staff are blossoming and going where the wind takes them. Bi-District OAP, Golf, Baseball, Softball, field trips, and don't forget we will have a Staff/Student Holiday on Friday, April 3rd and Monday, April 6th. Classes will resume at regular time on Tuesday, April 7th.

It's time for the Extraco Relays! Tomorrow Hamilton ISD will host the HS Extraco Relays and the JH Extraco Relays at Kooken Field. We appreciate all of the volunteers who help make these track meets possible! HS Track meet kicks off at 9 am with Field events and Running Finals at 11:30 am. JH Track Meet Field Events start at 3:30 pm with Running Finals at 5:30 pm.

This week is full of sports, Big Kahuna Delivery, the annual Extraco Relays Thursday, and the Big Kahuna party bus will make a stop on Friday. The Copper Garden will be at Hamilton HS during Break and WIN on Wednesday for tux fittings for Prom. We hope everyone has a wonderful week back!

Spring has sprung and that means SPRING BREAK! Classes will dismiss at regular time this Friday, March 6th for Spring Break. Hamilton ISD Campuses will be closed from March 9th-13th to allow our students and staff a rejuvenating break. Classes will resume Monday, March 16, 2026.

Spring madness has arrived! There is a lot going on up on the hill! The first annual Bulldog Golf Tournament, Reading Across America week spirit days on our AWE and HJH campuses, the HS Band will be hosting Concert & Sightreading contest, baseball, softball, and the girls regional powerlifting in Dublin Saturday.
Hamilton ISD will dismiss for Spring Break this Friday at regular time. We hope all of our students and staff have a restful, fun spring break!

Tuesday, Feb 24: A huge night for athletics! Telpas Testing continues, Lady Dogs Softball @ Valley Mills (5 pm), and the Bulldog Bi-District Basketball Playoff vs. Bosqueville at Lake Belton High School (6 pm).
Wednesday, Feb 25: HS Tennis @ WRTC, Bulldog Baseball vs. Lipan (4:30 pm), and the School Board Meeting (6 pm).
Thursday, Feb 26: HS Bulldog Track @ Tolar.
Friday, Feb 27: Louis Lowe Baseball Tournament kicks off! Plus, Lady Dogs Softball vs. Vanguard Prep @ 6 pm.
Saturday, Feb 28: The Louis Lowe Baseball Tournament continues.

HISD Weekly Calendar for Hamilton ISD February 9-14. Our Bulldogs are busy! Elementary has kicked off the annual Big Kahuna fundraiser, along with Valentine's Day parties and the Kinder Valentine Dance. AWE and HJH Scholastic Book fair is this week, and we invite families to come up Wednesday night 3:45 to 6 pm at the HJH library. Spring sports are in full swing with Baseball and Softball starting their seasons!

It’s a busy week to be a Bulldog! 🐾 From the court to the weight room and the diamond, here is everything happening across Hamilton ISD from February 1–7.
🏀 Basketball Central Our teams are hitting the road and hosting big games all week: Monday @ Graford: JH Girls (7A/8A) and 8th Grade Boys starting at 5:00 PM. Tuesday @ Lipan: JV and Varsity squads kick off at 4:00 PM. Friday HOME Games: It’s SENIOR NIGHT! Come out and support our athletes as they take on Santo, Jonesboro, and Dublin. Games start at 4:00 PM with Senior Recognition during the evening. Saturday: JH Bulldogs Basketball Hamilton Tournament (All Day).
🏋️ Powerlifting Thursday: Our lifters head to the Stephenville Invitational. Lifting starts at 4:00 PM. Good luck to all our powerhouse athletes!
⚾ Baseball Scrimmages Get a first look at the season: Tuesday: vs. Early @ 5:00 PM. Friday: vs. Stephenville JV @ 5:00 PM.
