Hello Hamilton Citizens!
This year in the HJH Gifted and Talented Program, two students have selected the "Looking at the Past with Eyes of the Future" project. This requires them to think of a historic building in town and bring new life to it! They want this project to be successful and need input! If you have the time, can you please answer their 5-question survey? If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please don't hesitate to reach out to me at kcrowson@hamiltonisd.org. Thank you for your time, support, and assistance on helping them with their research!

Digital Citizenship Week - Thinking Traps
Thinking traps are automatic negative thoughts that can lead to inaccurate and unhelpful conclusions. They can distort our perception of reality and make it difficult to make sound decisions. Thinking traps can also contribute to feelings of anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. The image has some more explanations of thinking traps, and the video linked below explains how your brain can trick you into Negative Thinking.

Here are some tips for being a good digital citizen:
Be respectful and kind to others online.
Protect your privacy and security.
Be critical of the information you find online.
Use technology in a responsible and ethical way.
