AWE Field Day:
Kinder – 2nd Grade: 8:30 am – 10:30 am.
3rd – 5th Grade: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
HS Cheer: Tryouts with Judges.
Dance: 6th–8th Grade Beach Theme Dance from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

It's another busy week for our students up on the hill! Today our Seniors will honor those special educators that have influenced them at the Shining Apple Awards at 2 pm at the Chandler Craig Auditorium, Early Voting for the School Board Trustee election ends Tuesday, April 28th, 4th & 5th grade will have a fun day on Thursday at Ag Day, students are out for a Bad Weather day Friday, May 1st., and our Regional Track athletes will be competing at Springtown this week. Good luck!
Wrapping up this week the School Board Trustee Election Day is Saturday, May 2nd from 7 am to 7 pm at City Hall.

Students will help clean up the campuses from 9 am to 11 am and then there will be a Car Wash at the Hamilton Volunteer Fire Dept from 11 am to 1 pm to support the HJH Student Council. This is to inform you that the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) will be conducting a statewide emergency test Thursday, April 2nd between 10:00 AM and 12:30 PM

During this test, you may receive a notification on your mobile devices similar in appearance and tone to an AMBER Alert in addition local sirens may also be set off as well. Please be advised that this is only a test of the emergency alert system. No action is required from staff or students.

School operations will continue as normal, and it will be business as usual throughout the day. We simply want to ensure everyone is aware in advance to prevent any confusion or concern when the alert is received.

It's time for the Extraco Relays! Tomorrow Hamilton ISD will host the HS Extraco Relays and the JH Extraco Relays at Kooken Field. We appreciate all of the volunteers who help make these track meets possible! HS Track meet kicks off at 9 am with Field events and Running Finals at 11:30 am. JH Track Meet Field Events start at 3:30 pm with Running Finals at 5:30 pm.
